On Sunday, May 26th the boys first played Hammond for a chance to play in the championship game. Cam Dennie was the winning pitcher.
Cole Filson had a hit.
Cam Dennie had two home runs and two RBI's.
Ezra Winkle had two hits, one a home run.
Austin Arriaga had a home run and two RBI's.
We won 7-6 to play for the championship against Crown Point.
Next we played a very good Crown Point team. Cam Dennie was the losing pitcher and he also had our only two hits for the game. We got beat but never gave up.
They played four really good teams and came out with a record of 3-1. Coach Caban says, " I am proud of our kids and how they played this weekend!"
The boys travel to Wawasee on Wednesday and then travel to Flora for a tournament this weekend.
